Hi Friend,
Finances...Parenting...Health issues...Looking after aging parents...Careers...Worries about your future.
Any one of these can, and do, stress marriages, often to the breaking point.
Couples today are facing unprecedented pressures as COVID-19 has brought all of these stressors to the forefront all at once.
Stress is corrosive. It doesn't feel good, it erodes your quality of life, and it assaults your well-being and health.
Your personal well-being and how your marriage gets through this time depends on what you do now.
Will you try to go it alone, or will you take action so your marriage comes out the other end in as good shape, or even better, than when you went in?
What do you have in your back pocket to immunize you and your relationship against all the sources of stress you're dealing with right now?
What does it mean to be "immunized"?
Well, in the medical world, being immunized doesn't mean that you will never get exposed to, or even acquire, an illness at some point. What it means is that if and when you get a virus, you aren't taken out. Your body has the tools to manage, contain, disarm and destroy it. You can go about your day almost as if nothing was wrong. You remain productive, happy, creative, and engaged with life.
That's what the "Between Men and Women" Online Couples Communication Workshop does for your marriage or relationship. It gives you new understandings and practical tools to manage, contain, disarm and destroy sources of stress in your relationship before the virus that stress is, kills it.

"Between Men and Women" doesn't guarantee that sources of stress won't show up. Since we've been together, Jason and I have experienced health issues, financial challenges, my Mom's death, the challenges of helping my Dad who just turned 90, business issues, career changes, both kids being injured, and more.
But through all of that, we had each other. Solid and unshakeable. That was never in question. Not because we're special. We're not. We're just like you. No different.
What we had was an understanding of each other. We knew what we each needed to feel safe and secure. We had each other's back. We knew how to avoid arguments by knowing what not to say at the wrong time. And we knew how to help each other get through something by knowing what to say at the right time.
When I say we understood each other, I don't mean that Jason understood me as Donna, and that I understood him as Jason. That's too limiting.
What I mean is that I understand Jason as a man, and he understands me as a woman. When I really got that Jason is like all other men in terms of why he does what he does, how he behaves and how he reacts to what I do, I was free from blaming him. It's not Jason's fault he's this way or that. That's how men are. It's sort of built into the DNA. It's natural. It's not his fault, so why would I hold him accountable for things he may not even realise he's doing? The same is true of Jason's understanding of me. We don't blame each other!

This doesn't give him or me license to be any way we want with impunity. We have to be responsible for how we land with each other. But in order to be responsible we have to be aware.
And that's what the "Between Men and Women" Online Couples Communication Workshop gives you - AWARENESS of who you each are for yourselves and who your partner is too.
Awareness of yourself gives you freedom to be who you are....to finally know you aren't crazy or to know that you matter. Awareness of your partner replaces judgment and frustration with compassion and empathy.
I know...it almost sounds too good to be true. But I've got almost 15 years of personal and professional experience that proves it, in my relationship with Jason, and in the relationships of the 100's of couples I've worked with, including some who were literally on the brink of divorce.
Some people who get these emails have been receiving them for years without registering in "Between Men and Women", and gifting themselves the freedom, peace of mind, and connectedness that they want and deserve.
