Subject: Why most bodyweight workouts don’t build size... (and how to fix it)

Have you ever wondered why it's so tough to gain substantial muscle mass with bodyweight workouts?

It all comes down to resistance...

Bodyweight exercises are limited by one thing...your bodyweight.

And quite often, bodyweight exercises don't provide enough resistance to actually build muscle (e.g. if you can do 50 push-ups in a row, that's an endurance exercise, not a mass-builder).

However, there ARE ways to get around that.

- using more difficult exercise variations
- techniques like isometrics/static holds
- single limb training
- training frequency and volume manipulation


My friend and colleague, Alain Gonzalez, has put together an excellent program for building mass with bodyweight training using these techniques (and more).

The program is called "Bodyweight M.A.S.S."

If you want to build muscle, and you're either limited in your equipment and/or have no gym to go to , I definitely recommend checking this out.

There ARE ways to build muscle with bodyweight training...the physiques of top gymnasts can tell you that much for sure.

Your muscles know tension and resistance...and they WILL respond, even if that resistance is bodyweight, as long as the tension and resistance are properly applied.
