Subject: Try this 8-minute fat-loss "turbine" challenge...
So,
here's an 8-minute challenge for you that
my friend Jason Klein has used with the busy
men and women of the US Marines (by the
way - thank you to those ALL that serve!).
Just like you, Marines
need time-efficient training...and EFFECTIVE
time-efficient training at that.
Strategic work/rest
ratios paired with proper bodyweight strength
training moves will boost your fat burning hormones, help you
recover faster and improve your overall fitness and strength...in just
8 minutes...and with ZERO equipment.
You'll combine two Turbine circuits for one workout. Each Turbine
is just 4 minutes... but you MUST do both in order for it work.
Each exercise is to be done for 45 seconds followed by 15 seconds
of rest. This workout focuses on upper body...it'll really give you
a
good idea of what his program is all about.
Turbine 1
Superman
+ Pushup (in push up position, raise opposing arm and
leg, then set them down and do a push-up, then repeat on the other side)
Prone Iso Ab (plank)
Mountain Climbers (keep hands in push-up position, then "run"
in place with your feet)
Wall Slides (back on the wall, slide/squat down til knees are
bent about 45 degrees, then push up)
Rest one minute
then...
Turbine 2
Inward
Intention Pushup (try to imagine squeezing your hands together
as you press up)
Heel Push (crunch while pushing with the heels...you can sub
in
another ab exercises, too)
Close-Grip Pushup (hands shoulder-width apart).
Plank
