Sorry for my bad English….

I am practicing sportsphysiotherapy and I teach gymnastics at the University of Brussels.

I have the degree of MSc Physical Education and MSc Physiotherapy.

I know something about anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, people and their bodies.

But you have an incredible mastership of both diploma’s…. really! I am so happy to have met you about 5 years ago on the internet.

Well, I have a good story for you and you may use that story to your likings… and it’s the truth.

Perhaps the greatness of The Return To Prime method, to me, is that it is an excellent and well-structured plan that I actually incorporated in my business as a sportsphysiotherapist in Belgium!

Firstly, Return To Prime is a structured plan that I use as a physiotherapist. I know all that stuff for 28 years now but I never connected the dots (the methods) so that it is a usable plan (instead of just some individual methods to be used here and there).

So a very knowledgeable door that opened for me. Thank you.

Secondly, after using ALL your programs the last 5 years or so – by the way I am 57 yrs. old – I felt the need to test drive the Return To Prime plan, and I did – together with my training partner (who is 67!!) – thoroughly.

So I finished the program and then it happened.

For the first time in my professional career as a gymnast I mis-demonstrated an exercise resulting in an unfortunate salto backwards (unfortunate because the rotation did not complete) landing on my hand (legs in the air, fulfilling the salto) and my elbow went into a hyperextension (I heard a crack, all pupils heard the crack).

But apart from turning completely face-white, dizzy and so on (a bit like shock) it did not break the elbow (and believe me, that should have been broken).

Everybody to whom I demonstrated the exercise at that moment could not believe that– apart from the cracking sound – the elbow did not break.

I weigh 80 Kgs [176 lbs] and a salto generates a very speedy angle-rotation… So that definitely resulted in probably about 6 times my weight into the olecranon-hole. 6x80 = 480 Kgs [1,056 lbs].

So, for me it is clear:

If I had not went through the 4 phases of your Return to Prime plan - say a month before the accident - I would have had a broken elbow.

And for me that generates again the believe in what we do, physical education, the right method for the right purpose, the perseverance, the convincing that it is worthwhile – 12 weeks of structured and qualitative physical training, generating results!!!

For that, dear Mister Nilsson, I am very thankful for your insights in anatomy, training methodology, creativity of exercise – without losing purpose -  and connecting the dots... absolutely a Nobel Prize worth.

I hope you keep on thinking sharp – and yes, you need the madness for the upcoming years !
