Subject: The best lower back "fixing" exercise I've found...

The Reverse Hyperextension is one of the best exercises you can do for lower back health and strength.

In addition to strengthening the muscles of the lower back and posterior chain, the bottom of the movement puts traction on and unloads your spinal column in a way that can't be duplicated with any other exercise.

Powerlifting legend Louis Simmons credits this exercise for helping him heal enough to actually lift heavy weights again after he had suffered a serious injury and got no real help from doctors.

The problem is, if you don't have access to a Reverse Hyper machine, you're generally left with less effective options.

This use of the Hanging Ab Chair bench gives you a setup that almost perfectly mimics the bench designed for Reverse Hypers.

I actually HAVE a Reverse Hyper bench and I find this works even better in some ways.

Click here to see how I set it up in my gym...it's an excellent way to get the benefits of the exercise without needing the machine!

If you have back pain, you'll like this one!

The active decompression you get at the bottom is amazing, especially if you carry a lot of tightness in your lower back.

Really helps get circulation into the area.
