Subject: The BEST workout for bringing up one exercise FAST...

I just did a round of it last night using Calf Deadlifts.

It's a simple 30-minute bout of regular Time-Volume Training and it works like CRAZY for bringing up a specific exercise without trashing your nervous system or overloading your recovery.

It drills down on exercise specificity...you're literally doing just that one exercise so you can shortcut the nervous system strength adaptations (by practicing the movement in a focused situation) while developing the specific muscles in the movement pattern of that exercise.

Honestly, it works insanely well for improving stength in one exercise FAST.

You can use it for almost any exercise...bench press, squats, regular deadlifts, you name it (better for compound than isolation exercises, though).
