Subject: Stretch THIS muscle to stop embarrassing "pee leaks" (women only)
First off, yes, this topic is VERY different than what I normally write to you about!
But it's an IMPORTANT topic because solving that problem can make a HUGE difference in your life (and in your health and fitness!).
And I'll tell you right now, it's very fixable.
Several weeks ago, I talked to a trainer from Vancouver, Canada by the name of Alex Miller, who specializes in pelvic floor solutions for women.
Admittedly, this was a topic well outside of my expertise, but her approach to this problem of leakage was fascinating because it went against a lot of what you'd assume to be the right way to go about fixing it (traditional Kegels can actually make it worse!)
One of the most interesting things she talked about was how stretching a specific upper body muscle could actually help with the issue (and it's not in your abdomen or lower body).
I'm not going to keep you in suspense...that muscle is actually the pecs...
However, knowing WHAT to stretch is just the first step.
You also need to know WHY the chest needs to be stretched and how to best go about doing it.
(FYI, the link goes to a video, but if you prefer a text version to read, if you move your mouse to close the page, you'll get the option of a written page instead).
I've had a chance to have a read through Alex's program.
And in the same way there are specialists in medicine, there are definitely specialists in fitness and training.
I specialize in exercise innovation...Alex definitely knows her stuff when it comes to pelvic floor training.
If you have issues with leakage and you want a non-surgical, non-pharmaceutical solution to fix it, this program is one you absolutely need to get.
