Subject: Side-to-Side Barbell Shoulder Presses...a killer "mad scientist" delt exercise
If you're like me, shoulders
are one of your toughest bodyparts to develop. So I've
had to develop effective ways to really hit my shoulders HARD with
a variety of
"mad scientist" exercises to get the best results possible.
The exercise I'm going
to show you here is one of my favorites for building strength
and explosive power in the shoulders. I've found it to be VERY
effective for hitting
the lateral delts as well, which is critical for building shoulder
width.
You'll need a power rack
and a barbell for this and you'll actually be standing
OUTSIDE the rack to do it.
The unique setup allows
you to take advantage of the full functionality and
unique freedom of movement that the shoulder joint affords...all while
allowing
you to use challenging weight for developing mass in the shoulders
as well.
