Subject: Possibly the biggest myth about abdominal training...

There is something about "mainstream" abdominal training that
really cracks me up...and it has to do with informercials.
If you're ever watching late-night TV and see ads for whatever
stupid ab training piece of junk equipment, they always compare
the muscle activation of whatever they're selling to the standard
Abdominal Crunch.
And, of course, that piece of junk always beats the crunch by a
MILE (and for some reason they always shows people yanking on the
back of their head like they're trying to pull off a wig that's
been super-glued on :).
Very convincing, right! Charts and graphs don't lie...
So the part I find funny is that the crunch (even though in
mainstream "six-pack abs" thinking, it's the gold standard
exercise) isn't really even all that great of an abdominal
exercise!
And "muscle activation" is only a SMALL part of the equation when
it comes to getting a great six-pack. There's a whole lot more to
it than buying some junky ab thing that folds you in half like a
panini.
That's why I've got a quick video for you here from trainer Carl
Juneau. His focus is on what it REALLY takes to achieve that
six-pack. It's good, solid info and well worth checking out if
that's major goal for you.
In this video, you’ll discover:
- What may be the biggest myth about abs training
- The 3 reasons why crunches and sit-ups won’t get you six pack abs
- Carl's favorite ab exercise—and why it’s so much better
than crunches at getting you six pack abs.
