How does it taste?That's the nice thing... it's delicious. It's a really high quality milk chocolate...creamy and smooth. If you didn't know better, you wouldn't know that it's packed with functional mushroom extracts. (honestly, you better hide it from your kids or they'll eat the whole thing in one shot... it won't hurt them, but you don't want it to disappear that fast!). The company that makes this is VidaCap...I've tested and reviewed a number of their mushroom products before and I trust them. They make excellent mushroom products... and as soon as I saw they had just released this new chocolate product, I asked them to send me some to test out :).
You can see on the nutrition facts that each piece is actually very reasonable in terms of calories. I've been having piece after dinner while on a low carb diet...not enough carbs to throw it off and the taste really satisfies the sweet tooth while getting the benefits of all these functional mushrooms.
