Subject: Killer new "landmine deadlift" setup for glutes and lower back...

This is great exercise setup for targeting the glutes and lower back with a bar-braced landmine movement.

It really hits the glutes strongly at the top. The hamstrings get worked to some degree but not quite as much as the glutes and lower back.

To do this one, all you need is a rack (or Smith Machine) and a couple of bars.

The one bar is set on the rails in the power rack for your upper thighs to brace against.

The other bar is used like a landmine (if the weight isn't too heavy, you don't even need to anchor the pivot end of the bar...if you use more than 50 lbs, anchor it either weight or with a landmine attachment).

Then you bring your upper body up and walk your hands up the bar to the top...a great hip-hinge isolation deadlift-style movement.

I've got the video of this one posted in a few places (be sure to like it, if you like it, and follow me on there!)...
