Let me just start by saying I am a HUGE fan of bodyweight
training. In fact, most of my favorite (and most effective!)
exercises involve finding ways to add resistance to bodyweight
exercises.

That being said, what I DON'T have in my repertoire are a lot of
bodyweight exercises designed on total-body "flow" and movement.
I have to say, it's a category of bodyweight stuff I hadn't even
really thought of.

Then I got a chance to check out Scott Sonnon's Tacfit Commando
information (which if you're on any other fitness email lists,
you may be getting one or two other emails about ;)...

It was a real eye-opener for me when I first saw this stuff, and
I don't often say this but this stuff is bloody BRILLIANT.

I just love the way these exercises work really useful movement
patterns in the body...movement patterns that will make you
simply perform BETTER in everyday activities as well as
athletics.

And the "commando" thing? Not just a schtick. Scott is an actual
"special ops" fitness trainer. He is for real.

I can tell you from the exercises I've seen in this program, this
type of training would be SERIOUSLY useful in hand-to-hand combat
and ideal for military, police, firefighters, etc...basically
anybody who wants or needs instantly-available functionality and
mobility.

I'll leave it at that for now, but definitely go check this
out...it's very cool stuff. I'll be giving you more info about in
the next few days, too.
