Subject: Is breakfast STOPPING you from losing fat? Could be why you're stuck...
Because here's the thing...eating a "good,
nutritious breakfast" every day could
actually be KILLING your fat-loss efforts.
And yeah, I realize this goes against the conventional
wisdom that everybody "knows"...however, this is for
real, and it could be affecting your results right now.
It's true...
...breakfast is the LEAST important meal of your day.
In fact, if you want to lose fat, there are plenty of good
reasons to completely SKIP breakfast.
For example, did you know that there are literally ZERO
published scientific studies showing that skipping
breakfast slows your metabolism?
Seriously...the number
is zero.
And if you DO eat breakfast, that orange juice and
whole wheat toast you're having are the absolute
WORST things you could be eating.
They're actually setting you up for failure by spiking
your insulin and making you even HUNGRIER by the
time lunch rolls around.
And there are even MORE reasons why breakfast is
sabotaging your fat loss efforts...
That's not all, though...
When it comes to timing your food intake for fat-loss,
you should also NEVER eat before training (3 to 4 hours
before, at the very soonest). Your body needs to be in
a "fasted" state to maximize your hormonal fat-burning
response
to the training.
And forget the idea of not eating after 6 pm if you want
to lose fat. You should be doing the OPPOSITE and
actually eating your largest meal of the day for dinner...
carbs included!
These three "contrarian" approaches to eating that I
just mentioned can actually help you SHED FAT while
obeying your body's own natural eating "programming."
Our bodies are not meant to have a giant, carb-filled
breakfast then sit around all day, drowsy and sluggish.
You think a hunter/gatherer could afford to have an
afternoon nap? Nope.
We had to be ready for action and alert. Then at night...
when everything has settled down, THAT is when you
should eat those "sleep-inducing" carbs...yes, what a
concept...right before you're going to go to sleep.
This approach to eating is EXACTLY what you need
to kick-start your fat-burning metabolism again.
