Subject: Interval Dieting...10 pounds lighter in 14 days <-- ARTICLE

Should you lose weight slowly or quickly -- what's more effective?

Most trainers teach people to lose 1-2 pounds per week, and stabilize their weight
over time, leading to more permanent results. This is what they are taught in school,
and what makes logical sense to them. Slow and steady wins the race, right?

WRONG.

In my experience, FASTER is better...and here's why...

When you really focus all aspects of your training, eating and lifestyle on a very
specific goal for a short, set period of time, you can achieve really amazing things.
You know what you have to do and you know when it's going to end so you can put
everything you've got into it.

It's the same principle as HIIT (high-intensity interval training). We used to think
long-duration cardio was the most effective way to lose fat....now, we know that if
we have 'sprint' periods and 'rest' periods for fat loss, we can accelerate results.

For me, I would much rather focus my efforts like a laser for a short period of time
than face the prospect of long-term dieting. I get MUCH better results with it and
it's not a grind...it's actually FUN.

So what I've got for you here is an article from my good friend Dr. Kareem Samhouri.
He's put together a great article on how to 'interval train' weight loss and fat loss,
over a 14 day period.
