I call it a Two Bench Hip Belt Split Squat...

It puts you in the best possible position for maximum range of motion with maximum weight, by taking grip and balance out of the equation while also taking the floor away from limiting your range of motion.

It's a fantastic, focused quad-building exercise.

The split squat exercise isn't new, but the setup is one I hadn't tried before...and it's awesome.

You will need a bit of equipment to perform it (if you don't have two benches available, you can use one bench and something sturdy for your back leg like a box or chair).

Check it out here...my quads were feeling this one for days.

I'm going to be doing this one a LOT.
