Subject: How to use a kettlebell to lose fat and tighten your waist FAST...[simple technique]
I'll be honest...most "normal"
cardio training is extremely boring
to me. It's not enjoyable and I'm just not a fan of getting on a
machine and grinding away at something for 40 minutes (which
isn't the best way to do cardio anyway!).
I'd much rather use resistance and
do something challenging and
fun that doesn't really seem like cardio.
That's where the Kettlebell Swing
comes in...
Now, a normal swing is
great but the
Kettlebell Swing
I'm about to show you is no ordinary swing...
In addition to providing you with a tremendous
cardiovascular
workout (done as interval training), this swing variation will
tighten up your waist FAST...much more so than just a regular
swing.
You'll target the obliques in a
"counter-rotational" fashion,
meaning they activate to prevent the spine from twisting during
the swing.
Here's a BIG secret...this counter-rotation
activation
is CRITICAL to tightening up the waist because it teaches
your obliques to cinch up like a weight belt.
Crunches won't tighten your waist
because the muscle fibers
run up and down, not around your body (if you've seen a
girdle in action, you know they don't just run up and down the
front...they wrap around the waist to tighten it up).
Combine this waist-tightening swing
with the overall metabolic/
fat-loss effect you'll get from it and you've got yourself a one-two
punch exercise that's become one of my new favorite ways to
do cardio!
