Subject: How to build muscle with BODYWEIGHT training...
Your muscles only know tension and resistance...they don't know if you're using a fancy machine or a barbell or just your own bodyweight.
Personally, I absolutely LOVE training for mass using bodyweight exercises.
When it comes to building mass with bodyweight training, I think one of the biggest misconceptions about bodyweight training is that the main form of progression is adding more reps.
Totally not the case.
For example, when you start getting strong at push-ups...and you get to the point where you can get 30, 40 and 50+ reps...that's not NEARLY enough resistance to build muscle. That's endurance training.
However, you can TRANSFORM "normal" bodyweight exercises into mass-builders with simple adjustments to body position, weight distribution and using training techniques that amp up the tension on your muscles.
When you have this knowledge in your hands, you don't need a gym...and you don't need a ton of equipment to build muscle. Just your own body.
So this link will take you to a program called Bodyweight Overload by my friend and bodyweight "meathead" Todd Kuslikis.
It's excellent stuff, covering everything you need to know to crank up your bodyweight training so you build MUSCLE, not just endurance.
And just so you know up front, when you pick up a copy of the program (and it's literally DIRT CHEAP - just 7 bucks), you'll also get a 14-day trial membership to Todd's "Bodyweight Physique Academy" site where you'll get an INSANE amount of information on how to build muscle and strength and get shredded using bodyweight training methods. If, at any time, you feel it's not for you, you can easily cancel, no questions asked.
