Subject: Get an INSANE arm pump with this workout...
For the last few days, I've been telling you about Jason Maxwell's Decembulk program. It's excellent stuff.
You don't have to take my word for it, though...Jason has given me a sample arm workout for you to take to the gym and try out.
The workout is based stragetically on 3 distinct methods to build muscle.
1. Mechanical Tension
This is done by using heavy weights to build both strength and size (and produce lots of tension). The goal here is to feel the muscle working. Use heavy weights. Your goal is to have your muscles contract as hard as possible.
2. Metabolic Stress
Research shows that getting a good pump burn and pump in the muscle will cause it to grow. Decembulk accomplishes this via sets of higher reps, and intensity techniques such as drop sets and partial reps.
3. Muscle Damage
The goal of each workout is to break down a muscle so that you are sore the next 1-3 days afterwards. When this occurs, the muscle gets damaged. Your body realizes that the muscle has broken down, so it will then build it up to be BIGGER and STRONGER. The end result is your body gaining lots of muscle.
Decembulk focuses on causing muscle damage by strategically getting a pump in your muscle. Next, you will work the pumped muscle with heavy weights. Lastly, you will finish it off with high reps, and intensity techniques such as dropsets, and rest pauses.

*NOTE: Here’s how the rest pause works:
• Perform last set of 6-8 reps.
• Rest 20 seconds.
• As many reps as possible with the same weight used. (It will usually be between 3-5 reps).
• Rest 20 seconds.
• As many reps as possible with the same weight (again). (It will usually be between 1-4 reps).
• DONE.
