Subject: Build your upper chest with this "Not a Hindu Push-Up" push-up (you'll see)...
This is a simple way to target more of the "fan" of the chest muscle fibers, particularly upper chest, by dynamically changing your body position during the exercise.
The pecs, being fan-shaped muscles, work in a variety of different angles of movement. To get maximum development, you need to change the angle of the arms at the shoulder.
To accomplish this, you can either change the angle of the bench that you're doing presses with, or you can change your body position with push-ups.
This variation of the push-up will have you changing body position during each rep of the exercise.
It's reminiscent of Hindu Push-Ups in terms of how it looks, but the effect is primarily on the upper chest.
This is a great exercise to use in conjunction with my Time-Volume Training program for building mass while training with limited equipment.
If you haven't used that method, you'll love it, especially if you do a lot of bodyweight training and aren't sure how to use that to build muscle.
I explain how it works on the page here.
