Subject: A strange method for improving a lagging bodypart/muscle group...
So...got a weak or undeveloped muscle(s)
that
you want to improve but don't want to slow
down development in your OTHER muscles
to bring it up?
This
Primary/Secondary exercise version of my Time-Volume
Training protocol is an excellent way to specialize on a weak
muscle...without really specializing on it all!
Sounds weird,
I know, but essentially you'll be putting some very
targeted training volume onto one target muscle group without
having to reduce training volume for everything else...
... so you'll specialize without reducing the workload on any other
bodypart.
I've
got a demo of this technique that focuses on Traps...as well
as advice on how to do it for other bodyparts as well!

Two More Quick Things...
1. Eight Minutes...3X
a Week...The Marine Body Fat-Loss Program
I sent an email about
this program yesterday...it's a really cool
concept in at-home, bodyweight-only fat-loss training.
It's based on variations of the Tabata protocol (which is essentially
short work periods alternated with VERY short rest periods...
extremely intense and incredibly time-efficient training!).
The workouts are well-planned and definitely challenging. If you're
somebody who often gets short on time and doesn't have a chance
to get to the gym to train, this is a GREAT option to work with.
The creator, Jason Klein, was actually a Navy fitness instructor...
and he actually used these exact programs to whip his Marines
into shape FAST.
Check out the
program here...at-home, bodyweight fat-loss workouts, done in 8 minutes.
2. The
Goal Bundle
If
you've got a particular physique or training goal in mind and you
want to acheive it FAST (e.g. add 6-10 inches onto your vertical jump,
doubling your squat weight, doing a handstand push-up, etc.) , I
definitely recommending checking out this collection of books.
I know most of the contributing authors personally and they're a
talented bunch :).
It's on sale
right now for dirt cheap...28 books for 28 bucks....but just
for a couple of more days, so definitely go check out asap. Some
really cool topics covered in it.
That's all for now!
If you come up with any other good combinationsfor the Primary/
Secondary Time-Volume Training, defnitely let me know! I'd be
very curious to see them!
