Subject: 7 awesome new exercises for you to try...

I posted these exercises on my Instagram feed recently and I do just have to say, they're awesome...

Also, if you haven't followed me on IG yet, definitely do it so you don't miss out on stuff like this!

And FYI, you don't need to have an Instagram account to watch these videos.

 

1. Barbell Up-and-Overs

Fantastic exercise that hits almost everything in your upper body all at once...and some lower body as well.

 

2. Two Bar Landmine Floor Presses

This one gives you many of the benefits of using a machine while keeping a lot of the benefits of dumbbell pressing. All you need is a couple of bars and some plates.

 

3. Inwards Angle Foam Wedge Push-Ups

This one is awesome for the chest. As you're performing a push-up on the ends of the bars, you're rolling the plates UP the inclines of a couple of foam wedges.

 

4. Double Kettlebell Gorilla Walks

This gives you fantastic lateral movement training, as well as hitting the core very effectively. It's fun to do, too!

 

5. Plank Band Inverted Rows

The band makes this an "anti-gravity" type of inverted row by supporting your legs while you do the row, allowing your legs to rise and lower at the same time as the rest of your body.

 

6. Fingals Finger Sit-Ups

This is one of my favorite new ab exercises. As you do a sit-up, you walk your hands up the bar...and push the bar up to almost vertical at the same time, giving you resistance and the ability to push and pull with your core simultaneously.

 

7. Plate on Bar Chin-Ups

Put a bumper plate over top of a chin-up bar and grip on the edges to do chins. This gives you major activation on the lats while helping to take the biceps out of the exercise.
