Glass artist and “Blown Away” contestant Rob Stern arrives at the Belger Glass Annex next week! During his residency, Rob will be involved in the following programming:

Free artist talk: Thursday, March 2 from 6pm - 7pm
Free glassblowing demonstration: Friday, March 3 from 6pm - 8pm
Four-day glassblowing workshop: Thursday, March 2 - Sunday March 5 (registration required.)

Only two spots remain for Rob’s workshop, “Finding Your Way.” Rob will take workshop participants on a glass sculpture deep dive. With daily project-specific demos and one-on-one instruction, you will design, develop, and expedite personal projects, and take your glassblowing skills to the next level. Don't miss this incredible opportunity to work with a master glassblower! Glass 2 or equivalent required.

Learn how to blow glass this March! A few spots are available in the next four-week Wednesday evening Glass 1 class that starts on March 8. Glass 1 provides a strong foundation in the basics of glassblowing. Learn how to gather molten glass, how to add a bubble into the glass, and how to shape the glass using traditional tools and techniques.

Summer Art Camp for Kids (ages 7-12) and Teen Studio Experience (ages 13-17) return! Kids and teens will enjoy a range of art experiences with clay, paint, collage, printmaking and more! Kids and teens will also be inspired by the art exhibitions that are on view in our galleries. New this summer—teens will get to work in the glass studio!
