Russell Ferguson and Shane Lutzk:
Clay, Lines and Fire
The Ferguson/Lutzk collaboration, “Clay, Lines and Fire”, features sculptures by Lutzk which include imagery from Ferguson. Both artists explore landscape, the figure, and narrative in their work.
 
White Gold: Montana Dreams
Robert Harrison of Montana is currently involved in site-specific projects in the US, Denmark, Italy and Poland. Harrison is a resident of Helena, MT, and his large scale sculptures adorn Montana’s capital city. 

Shalene Valenzuela: Weights and Measures
Featuring ceramic sculptures with feminist imagery from the long-time Executive Director of the Clay Studio of Missoula in Montana, Valenzuela’s forms reference dress-makers mannequins, kitchen appliances, and tools of domestic use. Works will be on display at the Belger Arts Center starting Friday, September 1st with the artist's reception being held on Friday, October 6th from 6-9pm.

The Belger Arts Center opened in the spring of 2000 in the headquarters of the Belger Cartage Service, Inc. in KC’s Crossroads Arts District. In the 17 years since opening the BAC has hosted more than 60 exhibitions with artists from more than 40 countries. In 2013 the Belger Crane Yard Studios opened, providing more gallery space, plus studio space for more than 50 artists yearly. The Belger Crane Yard Studios and Gallery are open  Wednesday through Friday from 10 am – 5 pm, and on Saturdays from noon – 4:00 pm. The Studios are located at 2011 Tracy Avenue in the East Crossroads.
