Ceramics Classes at Belger Crane Yard Studios

Underglaze Decoration with Carolyn Mimbs

Want to improve your ceramic surfaces? Why not take Carolyn Mimbs’ Underglaze Decoration class? Learn techniques like sgraffito, mishima, monoprinting, stencils, and more! Carolyn will lead you through the building and painting processes of ceramic underglazes to create beautiful color surfaces. This class is open to all levels. Intro Glassblowing Classes

Start your glassblowing journey at the Belger Glass Annex!

Sign up for a Glass 1 class and learn how to gather molten glass from the furnace, inflate the glass, and use traditional tools and techniques to sculpt and shape the glass.

New classes start in May and June:

Four-week Wednesday night class, May 17 - June 7
Weekend class, June 17 - 18
Four-week Wednesday night class, June 21 - July 12

Make Your Own Stemless Wine Glass - Saturday, May 18

Do something different for Mother's Day this year and bring the mom in your life to the Belger Glass Annex to make stemless wine glasses together! Each participant gets a chance to work with a professional glassblower to add color to their glass and help shape the final product. This activity is fun for the whole family!

Summer Camp for Kids and Teens is back!

Summer art campers “drawing” inspiration from artwork in the galleries.

Summer Art Camp for Kids (ages 7-12) and Teen Studio Experience (ages 13-17) return! Kids and teens will enjoy a range of art experiences with clay, paint, collage, printmaking and more! Kids and teens will also be inspired by the art exhibitions that are on view in our galleries. New this summer—teens will get to work in the glass studio! Ignite your child’s creativity and reserve your spot today.
