| | Great Pots for Plants
If April showers bring May flowers, then we need to make sure we have pots and planters ready for all of them! Using the pottery wheel and handbuilding techniques, we will create unique vase and planter forms. Everything from perfectly sized planters to wall pockets for display will be on the table. Greenware techniques like carving and texturing will be our main form of decoration for the objects, emphasizing each individual form. |

| | Screen Printing on Clay
In this class we will use a variety of screen printing techniques to build successive layers of information. Print on clay techniques will allow us to create complex and compelling surfaces useful for both storytelling and decoration. Processes are applicable for sculptural and functional work and are appropriate for all types of clays and firing temperatures. In this class we will work cone 5 - midrange clay and glazes. This workshop is appropriate for all levels. |
