More Exhibiting Artists

Hunter Smith is Belger’s March Mug of the Month artist. Hunter began working in clay as a student at Berea College in Kentucky. Currently, he is completing a post baccalaureate study in the ceramics department of the University of Kansas. When creating his work, Hunter draws inspiration from historical pieces and his fascination with tactility. Learn more about Hunter Smith on his artist page.

Purchase a Mug of the Month even if you don't have a subscription! This means you can buy a mug by an artist you love when they become available. However, having a monthly subscription reserves your spot to receive a new mug every month before they’re made available to the public.

Our current Digital Debut artist is Chandler Martin. He was born in Chicago, Illinois and raised in Plano, Texas. In 2015, he received his BFA in Ceramics from the Kansas City Art Institute. Since then, he has been actively involved with various art organizations in the Kansas City metro area.

Chandler Martin’s work captures memories and recreates personal events by sculpting gestural figures which carry the spirit of a particular moment in time. By depicting the actions of everyday life, he shows the viewer that despite how different we may be from each other, we can connect through our collective nostalgia and past experiences. His work is available online and at the Belger Crane Yard Gallery through April 30.
