Bust by Logan Reynolds titled Hide and Seek

Adult Ceramics Classes

Broaden your knowledge of building solid, ceramic forms and learn to sculpt a figurative bust that expresses character and emotion. In Logan Reynolds’ new class you'll learn solid construction techniques while using an armature. Complete the six-week class with a finished bust at 1:1 life scale.

Date Night

Don't forget about Date Night every Friday and Saturday evening (6:30-8:30 pm) at the Belger Arts Center (2100 Walnut, KCMO). Bring your sweetheart, a friend, or family member and enjoy a creative evening in the Crossroads Arts District. Learn to throw on the wheel, decorate what you make, and we'll fire and glaze it. Your finished work can be picked up one month after class. Date Night sells out quickly, so don't delay!

Beginner Glassblowing Classes

Take the first step to becoming a glassblower, and sign up for a Glass 1, a class that introduces you to fundamental glassblowing tools and techniques. Once you complete Glass 1, you can attend weekly practice sessions to hone your skills, and sign up for Glass 2.

Closed for Routine Maintenance

The Belger Glass Annex will shut down for routine maintenance from December 20 through January 9. There will be no First Friday glassblowing demonstration in January, but please mark your calendars for our next one on Friday, February 2, led by Hosoek Youn.
