Say hello to our brand new website!

We're on social media and would love you to join us and share you experience about the bee season you're having this month!

We have been working for months on a brand new website to provide a cutting edge style and design as well as more modern functionality that we believe you will find highly beneficial and rewarding now and in the future!

What happens with the old site?

We are running and operating the old site for two months (2-months) while we switch to our new website. Your details and accounts on the old site will remain in place as well as the products being updated with stock availability during this period.

I strongly advise you to visit the new site and register your new profile on there in the meantime.

When will the OLD SITE be Switched off?

We are closing down the old website 1 June 2021.

How does this effect me?

There are 3 major effects directly for existing customers.

Firstly, whatever orders and details you had on the old site will no longer show or be available to see.

Secondly, your profile will no longer work using www.beeware.co.za/shop2 and you WILL NEED to create a new one on www.beeware.co.za when you make your first order on the NEW WEBSITE.

Third, the look and feel is different and so will the ordering process change. It will look different and the layout is changed.

Change is here

The process of change is exciting and brings an element of the unknown. However, we remain the Bee Ware you know and we appreciate your support and eagerness to experience a new website together - even if there are a few bumps along the way!

If in doubt, call us on 012 771 4288 and email to buzz@beeware.co.za!

We hold weekly Zoom Webinars about beekeeping and smallholding topics that boost food production, discuss alternate building, farming and living sustainably! These are free... Come Watch and engage!

The LIVE Zoom Webinar tonight @ 19:00 features an amazing discussion about "farming with tunnels on smallholdings and how bees boost yield through pollination creating higher quality and more produce!"

March for beekeeping!

It's a big month for beekeeping and bees!

There's a number of late-blooming crops in the southern hemisphere that our Apis Mellifera Scutellata and Capensis honey bees love to forage on!

Take advantage of these if you have just decided to start beekeeping to catch bees - we talk about this on one of our YouTube Videos - {Bee Season - ep.3}.

Crops to look out for NOW:

  • Florist's Gum - Rank N2P2

  • Karri - Rank N3P2

  • Tuart - Rank N3P4

  • Saligna Gum - Rank N4P3

  • Grey Ironbark - Rank N3P0

  • Swamp Mahogany - Rank N3P3

  • Carob - Rank N1 P3 - useful for pollen

  • Kidney Bean - Rank N4P1 - yields substantially increased with bees

  • More available in the Blue Book we have at the Bee Ware Shop in Centurion!
