Getting introduced to beekeeping back in 2004, he was still studying at university and was asked to get involved with a Rotary Club project in support of a local community development programme.
Much research later, across multiple project options, he recommended brick making, cash crops, aquaponics and beekeeping to provide vehicles for sustainable community job creation and entrepreneurial opportunities to earn income!
After presenting each project to the Rotary Club Board the president encouraged Warrick to head one of the proposed projects. A week later, he took up the challenge to start beekeeping!
Now, he runs a beekeeping business that spans across the South African Development Community Countries [SADC] with specialist knowledge in training, community projects, poverty alleviation and beekeeping related entities and by-products!
With a background in economics and investment, his business strategy experience provides an unique insight to the agribusiness sector.
