Hey Friend,
I have worked with a LOT of spirits. Most of the time I work with demons, but I’ve evoked my fair share of angels, planetary spirits, intelligences, elementals, and even gods.
Usually, I’ll first sense the presence of the spirit while I conjure it, and then its felt presence grows until the air is so thick that I have a hard time breathing normally. I’ll start to swoon, feeling like at any moment I might lose consciousness, but instead of retreating I dive headfirst into the rapture and call the spirits name louder, more furiously, pulling it closer to me and at the same time pushing myself deep into the blackness that is within me, to the space between myself and the spirit, into the illusion of my separateness from It.
This world disappears and I am alone at the Crossroads with the spirit that I have summoned. I speak with It, commune with It, and learn from It, either asking the spirit to impart some thing to me, or employing the entity in some work that I need done.
Most of the time, the spirit comes and then the spirit leaves, and the thing that I desired from it manifests in my life.

Every Once In A While, A Spirit Will Not Leave... |

Every once in awhile, though, the spirit comes, but does not leave so easily, and instead lingers with me, the conversations that we have never concluding, the work that we do together ongoing.
Lucifer was one such spirit. I called him, wanting to experience him, wanting to learn from him, wanting his power and his knowledge. He came and he told me that I had much to learn, and that once he had finished with me, my reality would be obliterated, and in the twinkling of an eye a new reality would take its place.
I dismissed him, but he did not leave. I banished him, but he simply smiled and retreated from my view, only to appear to me again, without being summoned, to continue the work that I had started when I first called him.

I Have Had A Lot Of Teachers, But Lucifer Was The Most Demanding! |

I have had a lot of mentors, a lot of teachers, but Lucifer was by far the most demanding. He took notice of my attachments, and one by one insisted that I let go of the things that I loved the most. When I refused, those things that I clung to were ripped away from me, and I learned that it is better to give up attachment than to have the things I am attached to taken from me.
Although he is known as the Bringer of Light, Lucifer to me was the Father of Darkness. He drove me into depths of spiritual blackness that I never knew possible, and with it came immense power. For that power, though, came great sacrifices.
After working with him every day for over a year, my whole life had changed. I had changed in ways that can never be undone. After it was over, I knew that he had driven me in the light, that he had led me towards a greater realization of myself. But, while the transformation was in process, it seemed like agony. At the end of it, I was Awakened and autonomous in ways that I could never have foreseen. During it, He was the Master and I was the slave.
What I’ve only recently come to realize is that the nature of my dysfunctional relationship with Lucifer was not due to him, not to the sort of entity that he is, but due to the way that I perceived him.
When I first called Lucifer, I only knew of him from what I had been told by Christianity: that he was the Prince of Darkness, The Devil, the Original Liar, and the Tempter Towards Sin.
So, when he appeared, he came to me as a mirror, reflecting these attributes back to me, showing me a wicked vision that I would have to break through in order to find the Light and Power within myself, before I could see the Light that he brings.
If you want to work with Lucifer, I suggest that you learn from my mistakes. If I would have done 2 simple things differently, I could have gotten the same great results with a lot less agony. The 2 things that you NEED to do before working with Lucifer are:

1. Get to know him. Study the history of Lucifer. Find out what other names he has gone by and study those beings, to get a clearer picture of who exactly Lucifer is. This way, you won’t just be connecting with the Christian archetype of evil, but instead will be able to commune with the original Bringer of Light! |

2. Get to know yourself. Lucifer will absolutely transform you. In order to do this, all of your secrets and all of your flaws will be exposed, and you’ll have to deal with them! Take some time to evaluate what you want out of your relationship with Lucifer, and make some estimates of the things that you will need to change in yourself and in your life to get there. |
