Recently, I opened up with you and shared some of the struggles that I’ve been going through. One of the things I shared was that I have been struggling with deep issues that I’ve been unsuccessful in resolving for most of my life, because I’ve been blaming myself instead of understanding that children cannot really be blamed for what is done to them. I understood this intuitively, but I wasn’t able to apply it to myself. As I’m unfolding in my healing process, I’m finding that one of the hardest parts of it is this recurring cycle of self-blame and self-shaming. This has been prevalent in much of my life, causing me to keep many of my experiences at arm’s length, especially the negative things.

Satan provided me with some remarkable advice in this context. It was actually given to one of my students who signed up for the Satan pathworking ritual that I did as an accompaniment to the Compendium of Satan. This is a message for that person, but I also understood, as it came out of me, that it was a message for myself. I’ve really taken it to heart, spending some time each day allowing it to seep into my thoughts, my daily routine, and my life. Here it is:

When we’re riding a high wave of positive emotions, when life is good and we’re showing obvious signs of success, we imagine that we’re actually succeeding. We imagine that if it weren’t for things getting in our way, we’d be able to devote even more time and energy to magick, ritual, and the things that we really want to do. In reality though, life happens, sneaking up on you and swallowing your ambition. This is when we really start to get down on ourselves, telling ourselves that our lives are terrible. Even though we can feel resistance from thoughts like these, as they aren’t actually true, we still can get to the point where we think that they are defining our lives.

Let me set the record straight right now: there is never a moment in which you are not ascending. Every moment that you exist is ascent. You can speed it up or slow it down, but you can’t ever stop it. If you’re in ascent, you cannot be stopped, and since you’re able to read these words, you exist and you are ascending. When we imagine that we aren’t ascending, we feel that our progress has been taken away, but it’s actually the exact opposite. This is a sign of what I’m calling the great reversal, where you see things being completely inverted and flipped upside down. We see beautiful goddesses being pulled down into hell and becoming male demons. What we don’t understand about this, and what Satan has shined light on for me, is that the times when we are struggling are actually the times when we are doing the best work.

We’ve been programmed to feel like we shouldn’t struggle, and that if we have to feel any pain, it should only be a little bit every so often. We play these head tricks on ourselves, trying to make ourselves unworthy of even our pain. We need to shift our focus and our value system away from the phenomenal world and more towards the internal world of knowledge. Internally, we are working through traumas from this life, maybe even from other incarnations. In the process of allowing ourselves to feel pain and process these experiences, we often find that a lot of the things we think are actually issues are merely ingrained patterns of anxiety and fear. Approaching this in a conscious way, with calm certainty, allows us to discover what we can shift within ourselves in order to give ourselves a better life and a more enjoyable experience in the present.

The moments of depression and helplessness in our lives are what allow us to chip away at the walls we’ve built around ourselves. The dark night of the soul always precedes enlightenment. You can’t have one without the other, because the dark night is what actually pushes us towards that moment of enlightenment. The high moment of ecstasy and fulfillment is only created because of the power that’s being generated from the low moments, from the times when we don’t know if we’re going to make it. All we have to do is just keep breathing. When we finally are able to come out of this darkness, we find that we have more energy than we ever thought possible. Our vision is clearer, we know where we’re going, and we know how to get there.

I hope that this has been valuable to you. Magick flows through me and every aspect of my life. It’s no longer just about telling you what I know and what I’ve learned. That’s part of it, but the bigger picture for me is having the experience with you, going on the journey together. Part of that, selfishly, is so I don’t feel so alone. The path of ascent can feel like a very lonely place, and the fact that I can share the insights and rituals that are so sacred to me is a truly awesome experience.

Humanity is being pushed forward in leaps and bounds towards the next phase of our incarnation as a species. All of the limitations that we currently behold are but specters, phantoms of our fears, and all of these are being broken. Segments of the human population are waking up.

As a child I had assumed that the apocalypse would be a great war or some sort of mass destructive event, and that in having to survive and push forward to any sort of habitable future the remainder of the population would by necessity need to evolve the way that we think, the way that we act, and the things that we create.

We are witnessing a pandemic, a global pestilence sweeping the land. We are witnessing the revelations of the sins of the elite, and all that once was secret is now being shouted from the rooftops and delivered to our personal devices.

Rather than a mass destructive event, what is now upon us in this great leap forward is a personal event, a personal awakening. One at a time, the godly incarnate are waking up to our own power to our own purpose, and to the sea of changes crashing against the walls of comfort and familiarity.

Now is not the time to turn away from the Darkness. Now is the time to go all in on who you know you are!
