Let's dive into the love of color. For me, color is what truly drives us in our creative journeys. The element catches our eye and sparks that irresistible urge to create, buy, or simply admire. Color brings joy, and it can transform how we feel—whether that’s sophisticated, alert, bold, fashion-forward, or just more alive.

I recently tuned into a polymer clay class that explored how colors interact. It's fascinating how a color can stand out on its own, but when combined with others or altered, it can almost vanish. This principle holds true in beading as well. Beads might look like they belong together in the tube, but once they’re assembled, the final outcome can sometimes miss the mark because of how the colors play off each other..

Many have complimented me on my ability to work with color, but the truth is, I often go through numerous trials and errors to achieve the desired effect in my beadwork. This is one reason I find bead kits to be so valuable for my customers.
