Storeowner Julie Welch meant to tell us all that last week, but she reports that she was a bit distracted dealing with breast cancer. Summer is in full swing, and so is outdoor shopping at farmers' markets and sidewalk sales. Wouldn't it be lovely to ride a bicycle to one of those events? No bike? No problem! You can buy one Saturday, July 11, at the Denver Police Bicycle Bureau auction of about 150 found or seized bicycles. It's at 1930 35th St. (35th Street and Arkins Court just north of Brighton Boulevard). The Bicycle Bureau is a reddish brick building with a flat roof.
