  NEVER STOP CELEBRATING!

OK. It's Monday. But that doesn't have to mean the holiday weekend sales are over. Everything in the shop not already discounted is marked down by 20 percent Monday, July 6, and Tuesday, July 7, as the Independence Day Sale winds down at Twice as Haute consignment, 600 Downing St., 303-753-6003.

  WEDDING, BRIDESMAID DRESSES
  REDUCED BY 75 PERCENT

There's more to the Ultra Legs Hosiery Outlet 20th anniversary sale than a storewide 20 percent discount through July 31. Additionally, all thongs and panties are buy-one-pair-get-one free and the prices of wedding and bridesmaid dresses are reduced by 75 percent. Storeowner Julie Welch meant to tell us all that last week, but she reports that she was a bit distracted dealing with breast cancer. The word from Julie is that "It's taking some time, but they got it early - good news." So stop by at 3444 S. Broadway, Englewood , 303-761-3705, to take advantage of all those great deals. And while you're at it, give her a high five - maybe even a hug.

  WHEN BABY NEEDS NEW SHOES,
  GET THEM ON SALE

Enough footwear to satisfy the most demanding miniature fashionista is 15 percent off or $25 a pair during the annual summer clearance from Monday, July 6, through Saturday, Aug. 1, at Little Feet, 201 University Blvd., 303-388-9535. The selection includes shoes, sneakers and sandals from Nike, Reebok, Adidas, New Balance, Skechers, Geox, Keen, Teva, Jumping Jacks, Stride Rite, Nina Kids, Rachel and Scott David. Don't worry about missing out - owners Buddy and Beth Saper will be restocking the sale tables throughout the month.

IT'S RIDE YOUR BIKE TO SIDEWALK SALES
  MONTH

Summer is in full swing, and so is outdoor shopping at farmers' markets and sidewalk sales. Wouldn't it be lovely to ride a bicycle to one of those events? No bike? No problem! You can buy one Saturday, July 11, at the Denver Police Bicycle Bureau auction of about 150 found or seized bicycles. It's at 1930 35th St. (35th Street and Arkins Court just north of Brighton Boulevard). The Bicycle Bureau is a reddish brick building with a flat roof. Inspection is at 9 a.m., and the auction is at 10. For more information, go to denvergov.org/denverauctiongallery.

This e-newsletter is an effort to help both consumers looking for great deals and small retailers trying to survive against the Wal-Marts of the world. Please tell me about the wonderful stores, fantastic deals and amazing shopkeepers you know about by sending an e-mail to Janet@bestcoloradodeals.com.

I'm working hard to build this e-mail list, which means the newsletter will reach some people who haven't asked for it. If you'd like to be removed from the distribution list, just click on this link and send us a blank email.

On the other hand - and hopefully - if you like this newsletter and want to see it continue and thrive, please tell your friends about it and forward it to anyone you think might like to see it.
