Heating a pool is not a luxury, it is a
necessity! If you bought a car for $40,000 and the salesperson
neglected to tell you that you could only use it during the months of
June, July, and August, you might reconsider your decision. You would
enjoy your vehicle for those three months and then for the remaining 9
months, continue the payments, insurance, storage fees, and etc. If I
told you for an extra 10% you could use the car year round, which would
you buy, the $40,000 car which you could only use three months of the
year or the $44,000 car that you could use year round.
That is the reality of an unheated pool
on the Suncoast. You may take a “dip” in May and September but the
comfortable swimming season is June through August when the water
temperatures are above 80 degrees. Most of our clients will tell you
that 80 degrees is too cold. If you want to maximize your investment in
your pool, a heated pool is a necessity. Do you want to make that 10%
