Today! Weekly Writing Sprint in Fellowship of the Pen 💖🖊
|
|
| | Because you are on our Creativity Sparks list, you are part of our Fellowship of the Pen -- a community of writers where we share resources (including a Facebook group) and offer support via events.
One of the events we offer is our weekly writing sprints... but we're ending the sprints.
From Ann Woodford, our writing sprint coordinator:
Can you believe I’ve been running the Sprint for 2 years? It feels like just yesterday when we said, “Oh quarantine won’t be for more than a month or two!” Well, we learned the truth of that.
Fortunately, the COVID threat is abating, finally, and we are returning to our lives.
I’ve loved running the sprints, meeting with everyone, sharing struggles, and making time to get those words out, but life is changing rapidly for me and I must move on. It’s been a difficult, but necessary, decision to end it.
As of March 30, 2022, the Sprint will no longer be held. If someone is interested in taking over and running them I’m more than happy to share how I’ve run them, and co-host 1 or 2 to get you started. Just contact Beth and she'll connect us.
Back to Beth...
Ann, thanks so much for running the sprints on behalf of our writer's community. And thank YOU for stepping into leadership role and filling a need in our community.
***
Ann's position has been a volunteer one and has been a great way to connect and build a community of fellow writers. If you're interested in supporting the group in this way or any other way, please reach out to me and we can see how to make it happen.

Read on for how to join the writing sprint today...
** If you'd like to not get these weekly writing sprints, but stay on our weekly Creativity Sparks newsletter list, just hit reply and let me know. Though there will only be two more reminders after this.
