| | | Welcome to the Circle I am delighted to extend generous greetings to you, my colleagues in ministry, on behalf of the newly organized Adventist Women Leaders (AWL) which this newsletter represents.
I have served in various conference, union and division capacities for more than 32 years (not including my volunteer decade). Most of that time has been spent working primarily alongside male coworkers. Overall, my experience has been blessed. There were times, however, I felt that mine was a lone voice, and wished for other women to share my feelings and unique challenges. |
| "I felt that mine was a lone voice, and wished for other women to share my feelings and unique challenges." |
| In the 21st century church, there are more women, especially young, professional women who represent the faces of Adventists in leadership than ever in our history. AWL is a community where we can connect, tell our stories, learn from others’ experiences and find inspiration in our shared journeys. Let us create a place together that affirms, encourages and celebrates God’s goodness to those He has called to lead. |
