How stunning is this new coin!

To be honest, photos can't do it justice - there's a Mother of Pearl setting in the middle shaped like Australia that glimmers with the light. It has a holographic effect - I'm not sure if I was hypnotised or just mesmerised, but I found it hard to look away. It’s very calming.

The coin is being released today by The Perth Mint and as it's a unique coin, it may not last long. I've put together a video with all the details you need to know (just click the image to check it out):
