As I mentioned last week, there are 3 new coins being released by Woolworths through their Vegemite coin promotion.

The second coin with a black circle has officially been released now. This is what it looks like:

Like the yellow/first coin, this black coin also has the 2023 Commemorative Queen Elizabeth design showing the Queen's years of service (1952 - 2022) with the “2 Dollars” denomination at the bottom:

Some Woolworths stores released this black coin early while others will have it available in the next day or so.

I found the yellow coin in some of the self-serve checkout machines when I choose "Withdraw". Sometimes the staff have them in the tills. Unfortunately, the rules are different at every store - some make it easier than others, but generally staff are happy to help find the coins (for those who are friendly).

Based on previous Woolies promotions, I'm expecting that the coins will be available for a few weeks after the promotion ends. The yellow coin is still available in many stores (at the same time as the black coin).

That said, if you're having trouble getting them from your local Woolies, check with friends & family in other parts of the country to see if they can get them for you.
