Subject: Coin Collecting Update - New Coins This Week (And How To Find Them)
Hey Friend
If you've been on social media the last few days, I'm sure you've heard that Anaconda has a new coin promotion starting this Thursday. The theme for this coin set is NRL (Rugby League).
Here are the key details that I've learned:
1. There are two coloured $2 coins - for the 2 different NRL premierships (NRL and NRLW).
You can get these coins in your change (when you pay in cash) at Anaconda stores starting Thursday March 28.
2. There are also 17 individual team $1 coins. You can buy these coins individually ($12.50 each) or in a tube with all 17 ($45).
So there are 19 coins in total: 17x $1 coins and 2x coloured $2 coins.
Only the $2 coins are going into circulation and they are only available in change at the stores - you can't buy the $2 coins unfortunately.
In contrast, the $1 coins are only available to buy, and are not intended for circulation.
Not everyone has an Anaconda store nearby, so make sure to check with family & friends in other cities/states if you're after these coins and can't get to an Anaconda store.
The good news is that unlike the Australia Post promotions, it sounds like all tubes are the same. In other words, there doesn't seem to be "1 in 10 tubes have a special coin".
I'll know more after the promotion has started, and I'll keep you updated once I learn more - this is the first time Anaconda has run a coin promotion, so I don't know how easy or hard it will be to get the $2 coins.
In the meantime, here is a link to the Anaconda site with more information:

By the way, Australia Post is running a separate AFL promotion starting in mid April, so there will be 2 different football coin promotions running close together. I'll email about that closer to the time, but it will be very similar to their AFL promotion last year.
In the meantime, have a Happy Easter!
Cheers
Damian
