Subject: Coin Collecting Update - Even I was surprised by this! 🎁
Hey Friend
The third Olympic coin is now available at face value through Woolworths cash registers. Make sure to check your coins for any errors, such as rotation errors, the wrong paint and missing details on the coin!
To make this easier for you, we have just updated the Digital/eBook version of the "Pirate Guide to Collecting Australian Coins" with all the circulated coins from 2024 so far including:
- All four Olympics $2 Coins,
- The NAIDOC Fifty Cent, and
- The AFL and NRL Sets.
After the update, I was testing it on my phone and it blew my mind how much detail I could see in the photos when I zoomed in.
I don't know about you, but my eyes are not as good as they used to be, so being able to zoom right in on a photo is super helpful when checking for errors and other details:
The Pirate Guide gives you all the latest information about circulated Aussie coins in one place. We've made lots of updates to the book for this 2023/24 edition including:
- More information about storing your coins
- A new section on Heads side designs, with important info on the different designs and errors to look for
- Information about ‘general errors’ to check on all coins
- Updates on varieties and errors to look for, plus how to spot them
- Details on how to spot the C-Mintmarks on $2 coins
- The latest coin mintages from the 2023 RAM annual report (released in October 2023)
- Large, high-quality photos of all decimal coins put into circulation from 1966 to now
- Plus a few extra surprises
As a bonus with the Digital Edition, you'll also receive all updates until the end of the year as new coins are released into circulation and 2024 mintages are revealed. You can access it on your phone, tablet computer.
