Subject: Coin Collecting Update - Coin Myth Busting, New Coins & Coin News...

AustraliaCoins.org

Hey Friend

I hope that you are really well.

The next week in coin collecting is going to be exciting, but first I need to ask you for a favour...

If you've been collecting coins for any period of time, you would probably know about the "HH" coins that have received WAAAY too much attention in the media.

While some $2 coins from 1988 and 1989 (like proof coins) are definitely worth holding onto, there has been so much confusion & mis-information about these coins in recent years. I receive a lot of emails about these coins, but I started getting worried when the question shifted from "are HH coins worth anything?" to "Where can I sell my HH coin?"

So I put together a video about these coins, with some myth busting and also detailed info about the different versions of the 1988/1989 $2 coins.

This video goes into detail about the HH coins, including:
- what makes them so common,
- how to easily find a copy (even a copy in great condition), and
- info on the few times where an HH coin is actually worth more than face value.

Just click on the Play Button to check it out.

So the favour that I wanted you for is - even if you know everything about the HH coins, could you jump over to this video and watch, like and/or share it, because I want to make sure that new collectors can easily find this video!

>>New Coins...
As you may know, next week there are a bunch of new coins getting released. The first of these coins will be released through Australia Post on Monday - the AFL $1 series. I will send you more details about these new coins later this week.

>>Meet me at the Brisbane ANDA Coin Expo...
If you happen to be in Brisbane this weekend and you're visiting the ANDA Money Expo, please come and say hi!

I'll be on table 1 with Josh from Coins & Collectables Victoria. Make sure to bring your copy of the Pirate Guide so I can sign it for you. If you don't have a copy of the Pirate Guide yet, you can get one there at the expo.

There will be coin & banknote dealers from across Australia, plus there are several exclusive PNCs that you can purchase at the expo.

It's being held at the QSAC Queensland Sports & Athletics Centre in Nathan/Mt Gravatt.

Here is the website for the expo:

I hope to catch up with you there!

In the meantime, feel free to email me if you have any queries.

Cheers

Damian
