I was working with someone today who had this breakthrough in our coaching call.
This is one of my favorite breakthroughs! (Not that one breakthrough is better than another, per se, but if I had to choose...)
I would choose this...
Because with this comes soooo much freedom!
Like, damn. He doesn't have to constantly predict a woman's needs anymore?!!
That means he can free up a whole lot of mental and emotional bandwidth for other important things in his life
...and stuff that he actually has control over!
That means a whole lot less stress.
That means a whole lot less unspoken tension in the relationship.
That means that she actually gets to choose what she wants support with!
That also means that needs can now be spoken in English instead of in the cryptic language of "expectation".
Cool.
