Subject: I was recently interviewed by a dating app startup company...

Hey Friend, its your coach, Katya!

A couple months ago, I was interviewed by a start-up company.

They're in the process of using AI to create a much more intelligent matching and connecting system than what current apps have to offer.

I'm super excited about what they're creating and the rich and intuitive experience they're going to provide their users!

They wanted insight into the patterns I notice in my work with my clients. What works? What doesn't work? What are peoples grievances about when it comes to online dating?

They asked really great questions...

My favorite question was...

If I had noticed any patterns between the people who are successful and attract and maintain the relationship they desire?

It really got me thinking! Yes, there were!

Here are the patterns I've noticed amongst the people who are successful and attract and maintain the relationship they desire.

They never give up! The people who are successful know that the kind of relationship they truly desire is possible. Sure they lose hope sometimes but they always come back to "possibility".

They know how to deal with rejection. I.e. Getting rejected doesn't keep them out of the game for very long. They don't start blaming the opposite(same) sex at large after something doesn't work out.

They're not afraid to try new things. I.e. I had a client who had dated within his social circle for years and met plenty of women and had many relationships. After suggesting online dating to him a few times he finally got on okcupid and met his now fiance.

Basically, they subscribe to the idea that their person could be anywhere and they don't limit what's possible.

They are willing to take radical responsibility for themselves and their experience while dating. This one is key if you want to have a healthy relationship(.)

Curious, which one of these resonates the most for you? Which one of these could you use more of?

with gratitude,

Katya
