Subject: Do you keep meeting a bunch of weirdos?

Hey Friend, its your coach, Katya!

Do you think you’re the normal one in your dating life?

...and that you just keeping meeting a bunch of weirdos?

...and not enough “normal” people who know how to communicate?

Think again!

As a Dating and Relationship Coach I am especially sensitive to people's complaints about their dating life.

...And I’m not just talking about my clients dating lives, I'm talking about the two gals lamenting about online dating next to me while I’m sipping my cappuccino, the characters entanglements on the latest dramedies on Netflix, the people in my life who are trying to navigate this tricky territory…

I see it everywhere!

I see the discontent.

I see the disconnect.

I see the miscommunications.

I see the blaming.

I see the madness that plays out in peoples dating lives that doesn’t have to be there.

Most importantly I see the blindness.

The blindness to what’s actually happening.

And the reality that people's complaints are typically grossly exaggerated and are often saying so much more about THEM than the person being complained about.

...And I’ll start by telling one on myself.

Because I am not immune to this, either!

A couple of months ago I had this enormous complaint about online dating and how guys were taking forever to invite me on a date.

I was so annoyed and righteous about it.

Then I decided to look at my complaint and inspect… and see if there was really any truth value to it! As this is an area of life that I’m generally very happy with…. I thought it weird that I was complaining.

And when I looked I realized that I was the one who was blind to what was really happening.

I was the one who was distracted... taking days to respond to messages and text messages.

I was being lax and half-hearted.

...and THEY were just RESPONDING to me and the VIBE I was putting out.

By the time I got around to responding, the “normal communicators” I was seeking had already lost interest.

Joke was on me!

….And yet….

Boom! With this awareness I was empowered and could take responsibility for my results

I started responding faster and paying attention to what I was doing.

And…. “treating others the way I wanted to be treated!’

Communicating at the “speed” that I wanted to be communicated to!

...And just like that, the complaints stopped.

Low and behold I started to attract wonderful guys who were eager to make plans and take me out.

So the moral of the story is this!

If you find yourself constantly complaining, pointing the finger and “woe-ing is me-ing”.

Take a gentle look and turn your awareness inward.

You might find a different story.

One that you’re in control of…

And one that is much more empowering!
