Subject: Full Moon ✨Planets on the Move ✨ Your Daily Astrological Forecast💫

Dear Stargazers,

The need for discernment is strong this week. Not only does Mercury profess its love to Venus with its fingers crossed behind its back, but the Sun has a run-in with Neptune that has it doubting its ability to shine.

It's all below, along with insight into the first of two consecutive Capricorn full moons.

DAILY ASTROLOGY FORECAST
JUNE 17 - 23, 2024
All dates and times are given in EDT

Monday, June 17

Beware of fast-talking professionals or sweet-talking friends, because today's aspects from Mercury to Venus and Neptune suggest that their motives are less than honest and you're likely to be deceived by them.

And given that all three planets are in water signs, along with the transiting Scorpio Moon since 2:38 AM, they'll probably try to manipulate you by appealing to your emotions.

For some of you, it won't be easy to resist, because their words will feel so good that you'll want to believe it's true.

A word of advice: Don't. This isn't the day to take people or opportunities at face value, especially if they're connected to love or money, because some type of disappointment is likely to come from it.

Tuesday, June 18

Whether it's a detailed project at work or a 5,000 piece puzzle, this is a good day for anything that will benefit from focus and/or concentration.

It's also a good day for getting to the heart of a matter, so if you're pondering whether a person, an offer or a source of information is trustworthy, this energy will help you uncover the truth.

Wednesday, June 19

The morning hours are likely to be the most productive for making headway on work-related assignments and projects.

Given the timing of the midday void moon (11:32 AM - 12:32 PM), it might be wise to go to lunch. However, if you plan to use that time to shop for an item, you will want to go at a different time because the void moon suggests that you'll leave empty handed.

Once the transiting Moon enters Sagittarius (12:32 PM), you may find yourself feeling a bit restless. Given that this lunar influence favors spontaneity, you may decide to make your evening more interesting with a spur of the moment plan.

Thursday, June 20

Shortly before the Sun moves into Cancer, it has a draining encounter with Neptune that leaves it feeling fatigued and doubtful about its abilities. As a result, today could find you feeling depleted and doubtful as well.

How you experience this influence will depend upon your ability to discern the facts from Neptune's fiction. Should you find yourself feeling a bit discouraged today, you need to step back and view the matter through an objective lens.

At 4:52 PM, the Sun enters Cancer. This solstice marking the longest day in the northern hemisphere and the shortest one in the southern hemisphere.

Friday, June 21

Today's friendly alignment between Mercury and Mars suggests that Information and inspiration are likely to come quickly, making this an excellent day for brainstorming ideas.

Since this influence can help you get your point across clearly without coming across as adversarial, this is a favorable day for discussions and negotiations, as well as for activities that involve teaching or training.

After pausing for a tiny void 6:59 PM - 7:09 PM, the transiting Moon enters Capricorn, where just a few hours later it will become a full moon.

The Capricorn full moon occurs at 9:08 PM EDT. Details below.

Saturday, June 22

Given the influence of yesterday's full moon, you're likely to spend a bit of time contemplating the type of changes you could make that would benefit your professional and/or domestic life.

However, while you're likely to make some progress in the morning, by 1 PM EDT a disagreement between the transiting Capricorn Moon and Mercury says it's time to take a break and focus on something else.

Sunday, June 23

This is an excellent day to focus on your personal goals, because not only are you more likely to gain clarity about them, but you're also likely to be inspired with ideas that can help make them a reality sooner rather than later.

On a different note, if there is something on your to-do list that needs to be accomplished today, you can count on today's energy to help get you to the finish line.

After a brief void (11:06 PM - 11:15 PM), the transiting Moon enters Aquarius.

TRANSITING VENUS IN CANCER

June 17 - July 11, 2024

Whenever Venus moves into Cancer, she becomes more of a homebody. That's not to say she abandons her social life (because she doesn't), but rather than go out and about, she prefers to entertain at home.

And that's because as long as she's here, she embraces the Crab's values.

So instead of indulging herself, she nurtures her family, and when it comes to her home, she does more than make it beautiful. She also pays the mortgage, because when it comes to real estate, Venus in Cancer prefers long-term commitments.

The same holds true for her relationships, as well as her finances.

When Venus is in Cancer, she's not interested in short-term gains, because she's in it for all of her tomorrows.

And whether it's love or money, she needs an emotional return on her investment.

Likewise, during this time you may find yourself viewing your relationships and financial investments through the eyes of longevity and security.

TRANSITING MERCURY IN CANCER

June 17 - July 2, 2024

An intellectual in every sense of the word, Mercury filters the world through an analytical lens and experiences life through the head. In contrast, Cancer views the world through an intuitive lens and experiences life through the heart.

Odd bedfellows indeed, but when Mercury is in Cancer, it works because logic doesn't have a monopoly on insight.

It also comes through intuition.

Although he doesn't completely abandon his analytical process, Mercury spends most of his time in Cancer doing what comes naturally to the Crab. He relies on his instincts, listens to his gut and follows through on hunches.

And while he's here, you're likely to do the same.

JUNE SOLSTICE

The June solstice occurs when the Sun enters Cancer, and here in the northern hemisphere, it marks the longest day and the beginning of summer. It ushers in a time to venture out of our homes, socialize with others, connect with nature and enjoy the bounty of the season.

Physically, the Sun sustains life by providing light and heat. Astrologically, it represents our free will and creative abilities, including the ability to give birth on physical, intellectual and artistic levels.

But perhaps most important, the Sun signifies one’s soul, that immortal part of us that can never be broken or destroyed.

And that’s why the summer solstice is a celebration of life.

In the southern hemisphere, the June solstice marks the shortest day and the beginning of winter. It ushers in a time to withdraw into our homes, look within and connect with our higher selves and appreciate the stillness.

The winter solstice marks the rebirth of the Sun, because from this point forward, the days begin to grow longer.

That’s why the winter solstice is a celebration of the light that dwells within us. It honors our ability to reawaken, emerge from darkness and experience renewal.

Whether you’re welcoming summer or winter, may the Solstice bring a new cycle of peace into your life.

FULL MOON AT 1°27' CAPRICORN

June 21, 2024 • 9:08 PM EDT

This month's full moon is the first of two consecutive ones that occur in Capricorn, and while its energy isn't unfortunate, the second one of July 21has much better energy.

By virtue of its rulership of the 10th house, Capricorn presides over one's career, status, destiny and authority figures. For many of you, this full moon will bring something to light in connection with work.

For example, if you're waiting on a decision about a promotion or advancement, or anything for that matter that would influence your professional or personal status, this full moon should deliver the news.

On a related note, if juggling family and career responsibilities have gotten out of hand, the full moon's opposition (balance) to Venus (values) and its quincunx (adjustment) to Jupiter (expansion) suggests that you may need to make an uncomfortable decision about your domestic life if you wish to succeed professionally.

Getting Personal

So where might something come to light, fruition or an end in your life? Look to the life areas ruled by the house in your horoscope that is receiving the full moon.

If you don't know which house holds 1°27' of Capricorn in your horoscope, you can refer to the list below to find out where the new moon falls according to your rising sign (if you know it).
