Monday, September 12th:
Monday, the Moon remains pioneering, fast-paced Aries all day. It will journey there until Tuesday very early morning. Life is an adventure; we're more open to new ideas and enthusiastic about new projects. Patience is certainly not our strong suit at this time, but we can decide quickly and act immediately.
Our independence and dynamism are important to us right now, so we may find it hard to be disciplined or accept advice at this time; in general, our responses to others tend to be more assertive or even aggressive. If you find your foot tapping, try hitting the gym or finding other ways to burn off the body's excess energy.
Monday early morning has lots of potential for healing around family, the "mother
archetype", home, and our past. We may feel more sensitive and insecure about what we identify with, and around our ability to be assertive; this allows us to give ourselves some compassion, acceptance, and nurturing in the face of our sensitivities and limitations (Moon in Aries conjuncts Chiron in Aries, exact at 5:13am EDT)
Monday early afternoon, a somewhat challenging Sun/Saturn aspect becomes exact at 12:09pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect build last Sunday afternoon; it will remain strong until Tuesday afternoon. This aspect operates more on an internal level. We feel uneasy about something, almost awkward, and must make a choice. An inner awareness needs to be developed to see what needs adjusting.
Our focus is drawn to the truth of the matter, but we could be pulled away by doubts, impatience, or by "accepting" responsibilities that aren't ours (while ignoring the ones that are). We work hard but aren't always recognized or compensated as we'd like and therefore sometimes run out of steam before our work is complete. Our life works best when we learn to take care of our most important responsibilities first.
Being of service and improving systems are important for Virgo, but Saturn in Aquarius reminds us that perfectionism or being overly humble will not bring forth new visions for the future.
Ask yourself: What future visions do I have for my local or online communities? Could I stay open to bringing in some new structures to fulfill my vision and create something sustainable? What is the worst that could happen if I chose "perfectionism" over "building a better future"? What role might self-responsibility or discernment play in all of this? What if I simply decided to stay adaptable?
As best you can, slow down, but don’t come to a halt -- just because you're not sure about something doesn’t mean it’s not worth taking a longer look -- in other words, don’t discard things because they are different or new when you’re unsure what to do about them.
Ask yourself: What does taking care of my health in a self-responsible way look like to me? What future might I see if I slowed down? What might I notice if I took a longer-term view? How might clear discernment support my communities' long-term goals?
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 19-21 degrees of Virgo or Aquarius? If so, you will feel this aspect quite strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Capricorn (the Sun rules Leo; Saturn rules Capricorn).
Monday night/Tuesday very early morning, at 12:53am EDT, we enter a Moon Void of Course (VoC) that lasts for a little over 6.5 hours until 7:39am EDT (Tuesday morning). Use this intuitive time to make some adjustments and find creative ways to work with the energies at play: On the one hand, as best as you can, follow your inner compass and take care of your own needs; on the other hand, deepen your authentic connection to whatever you are building long-term.
As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don't start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Monday night until Tuesday morning ahead of time.
