Monday, the Moon remains in ambitious, goal-oriented Capricorn all day. It will journey there until Tuesday morning. We tend to be more realistic, serious, cautious; this can support practical endeavors and financial matters.
Our ambition surges and brings with it a need for structure and planning; when you add in the pragmatism this aspect supports, you can see how this could be a very productive time for business and long-term goals. Our reputation becomes very important to us.
As best as you can during this aspect, avoid "should-ing" on yourself. Take the pressure off, perhaps by saying "I am doing the best I can and that's all I can ever do" ;-)
Monday after 2:43am EST, it's finally time to set our Solar Eclipse Intentions.... since we just had an Eclipse, we get to set some powerful intentions for the entire length of an Eclipse cycle -- in other words, for the next 6 months!
Between 2:43am and 11:42pm EST today (Dec. 6th) is the best and most potent time to do so.
Make them powerful: They cover the next six months. If possible, align them with the Sagittarian energy that I spoke about in my Solar Eclipse video — feel free to watch it again if you are not sure anymore — click here to watch my video.
While writing your intentions, ask yourself: Where do I insist on "being right"? How do I usually feel afterward? Could I bring an open & compassionate awareness to this?
What stories have I been telling myself about life? If I don't go into stories, what universal truths feel immediately in alignment with my direct experience of life right now?
Monday morning, an opportune Mars/Pluto aspect becomes exact at 6:41am EST. We started to feel this aspect build from last week, Friday (Dec. 3rd) on; and it will remain strong until this week, Thursday evening (Dec. 9th). This brings an opportunity to connect our personal passions to our Soul's passions. We are resourceful and persistent when pursuing a goal, bringing tremendous effort and focus to bear.
This is an opportunity to be committed, determined and passionate, with no half-measures; it's also an opportunity to feel more confident about our shared resources with others. Strategic thinking and execution are favored right now, as is eliminating wastes of time and energy; it's also an opportunity for deeper insights into the social structures we want to transform.
Ask yourself: What is my relationship to power? Do I distinguish between the power that comes from within, versus that which is connected to external components?
Do I feel empowered in my chosen contributions to society and the world at large? Do I feel comfortable with the social structures that are currently in place -- and with the limitations they bring? Could it perhaps be useful to release any fears of scarcity and resulting distrust? Could I use this as an opportunity to focus on the actions I can actually take to support a more empowered world?
Remember though: An "opportunity" is just an opening, it's not automatically granted -- we have to "step up" to the opening, then through it...
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 23-27 degrees of Scorpio, Capricorn, Pisces, or Virgo? If so, you will be more aware of this opportunity. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Aries or Scorpio (Mars is the ruler of Aries, so those folks will always be affected more strongly by Mars's movements and aspects; Pluto is the ruler of Scorpio)
Monday late evening, at 11:42pm EST, we enter a Moon Void of Course (VoC), that lasts for a little over 7 hours, until 6:49am EST (Tuesday morning). Use this intuitive time as an opportunity to investigate your deepest motivations and align them with your long-term goals and achievements. We are capable of great focus for this period.
As with all opportunities in life, this one is not simply handed to us, we have to make something of it. Might deeper perspectives into our psyche move us closer to long-term goals?
As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don't start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Monday late evening until Tuesday morning ahead of time.
