Monday, November 1st:
Monday, the Moon remains in detail-oriented, practical Virgo until 7:11pm EDT. Until then, our focus turns toward the practical and wholesome. We are generous with our time/services and we love to help others. We also have a fondness for science and anything that makes sense in our world -- things and knowledge we can apply and use.
Health might also come into focus at this time. We notice the parts that make up the whole; this is a great time to see if our daily routines (eating, work, self-care, etc.) align with our long-term goals.
Monday very early morning, a harmonious Mercury/Jupiter aspect becomes exact at 12:18am EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from last week Friday evening (Oct. 29th) on; and it will remain strong until Tuesday evening. Due to Mercury's Retrograde motion in October, this is the third time in a 6-week period that this aspect has become exact. The first time was on Sept. 20th, and the second time was on Oct. 3rd.
Think back to those dates and ask yourself: What did I notice in my communications with others? Did I feel an increase in my interactions with others or my communities (both in-person or online)?
Sunday, Oct. 31st.
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 19-26 degrees of Libra, Aquarius, or Gemini,? If so, you will feel most blessed by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo or Sagittarius (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo; Jupiter of Sagittarius).
Monday morning, around 9am EDT, the Balsamic Moon phase begins as the Moon reaches 24 degrees of Virgo. This lasts until Thursday late afternoon, when the New Moon in Scorpio becomes exact (more on that on Thursday… however, feel free to watch my video on the subject here).
We are being asked to slow down and get quiet, so we can listen to our inner sensing/intuition. For some of us, this might be a stretch. As best as you can: stay grounded, take a deep breath and exhale any tensions. Rather than starting something brand-new, put all that energy into completing existing projects or processes.
This is also a great time for letting go of whatever no longer serves us. What if you could hear the voice of your inner wisdom? What might it be saying?
Monday late morning, a somewhat challenging Sun/Chiron aspect becomes exact at 11:20am EDT. We started to feel this aspect build from last week, Sunday (Oct. 31st) late morning on, and it will remain strong until Tuesday late morning. This aspect operates more on an internal level. We feel uneasy about something, almost awkward -- and we need to make a choice. An inner awareness needs to be developed if we’re to see what needs adjusting.
We may feel an internal dilemma around our ability to get things done -- a drop in our self-confidence and self-esteem. This could lead to us "hiding out"... which leaves us feeling strangely guilty... which leads to us behaving in weird ways... and we end up thinking "did I really just do that?"
As best as you can, be kind and compassionate with yourself -- forgive yourself for having a human moment -- this will support your healing process.
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 8-11 degrees of Scorpio or Aries? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo (the Sun rules of Leo).
Monday early afternoon, at 1pm EDT, we enter a Moon Void of Course (VoC), that lasts for a little over 6 hours, until 7:11pm EDT. Use this intuitive time to be precise and practical in your thinking and work. You may also want to be active and have an adventure with others.
The tension between these two urges invites us to stretch a little and reach a resolution through creative solutions -- the key here is to be of service and allow for experimentation, so we don't drive ourselves or others crazy. You may feel a little scatter-brained or all over the map. As best as you can, stay flexible -- and don't be too hard on yourself.
As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don't start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Monday early afternoon until Monday evening ahead of time.
Monday at 7:11pm EDT, the Moon moves into harmony-loving, balance-seeking Libra, where it will journey until Wednesday evening. The energy of the Libra Moon helps us be naturally courteous and diplomatic; we are more polite at this time, as we seek the approval of others.
We very much want to maintain equal, fair relationships at this time, and are therefore open to making compromises and negotiating. These next two days are a great time for mediation -- but our need for peace and accompanying aversion to direct conflict could pull us to "yes" more easily than we might like.
We may also be able to see both sides of the equation so well that we can't make decisions. As best as you can, find an inner balance with this and communicate what needs to be said with grace and charm -- even if it's "No" ;-) One last quick note: this is also a great time for...
