Due to a family matter, I will be taking a break from creating Full Moon  videos until the end of the summer. All other Member content (including Full Moon articlesNew Moon videosNew Moon articles, and my Weekly Forecasts) will continue uninterrupted.

On July 13th, at 2:38pm EDT, the Moon opposes the Sun in almost 21.5 degrees of Capricorn. This Full Moon has heightened effects on us for many reasons: first, it is a "Full SuperMoon" (i.e. the Moon is at its closest distance to the Earth).

Secondly, lots of planets are involved in this Super Full Moon chart -- Chiron, Pluto, Neptune, Mercury, Uranus, Saturn, and the Moon Nodes -- and all play an important role, so buckle up! We also have a Grand Water Trine and many aspects to the Moon…

Chiron in Aries plays an especially big role in this Full Moon chart, firstly because it is stationing and therefore exalted -- indicating that something is in our face and demands our awareness -- we must pay attention to whatever comes up in connection with Chiron’s energies (the Wounded Healer). It's important to realize that our long-term goals need our attention -- and that they could be the very thing that might bring the fulfillment and inner stability we seek. A realistic approach will work best here!

Ask yourself: Where might the balance point be between the demands of my inner and outer life? If I listened 5% more closely to my feelings, my body, and my intuition, might I be able to find that balance point more quickly?

Capricorn seeks to develop an internalized sense of authority and responsibility. This Full Moon is therefore asking us to look closely at how we balance taking care of ourselves (Cancer), versus how we want to contribute to the world at large (Capricorn) — in other words, where we have...
