Monday is quite the day (astrologically speaking). The Moon remains in creative, sensitive Pisces all day. It will journey there until tonight/Tuesday very early morning (Nov. 11th/12th). This Moon placement often finds us more sensitive, intuitive, idealistic, and imaginative than usual.
We also have a greater capacity for compassion, sympathy, and affection for all, especially those who suffer or can be regarded as the underdog.
But that idealism could also be our downfall at this time: We tend to see the best in everyone and everything, and when reality doesn’t match our idyllic vision, we might feel upset and even victimized by those harsh realities.
A way out of this is to channel our idealism into spiritual or creative endeavors.
It’s also an excellent time for releasing fears — especially the ones based on a sense of separation — and experiencing “oneness”.
Monday morning, a somewhat challenging Sun/Jupiter aspect becomes exact at 6:08am EST. We started to feel this aspect build Sunday morning (Nov. 10th); it will remain strong until Tuesday morning (Nov.12th).
This aspect operates more on an internal level. We feel uneasy about something, sort of awkward — and we need to make a choice. An inner awareness needs to be developed to see what needs adjusting.
This aspect brings us to a fork in the road: One path takes us toward more profound, more authentic emotional connections with others and ourselves; the other leads to a greater understanding of our mind and how our mental exchanges with others determine our understanding of life.
There isn’t a single “correct path,” as both routes can lead to a deeper understanding of the themes at hand. However, no matter which direction you choose, it’s essential to remain open-minded throughout the journey. This is particularly important if you find yourself becoming overly enthusiastic with others, as it may hinder your ability to think clearly.
Our enthusiasm might make us impatient or hasty with others. As best as you can, keep choosing the “better” alternative, adjusting as needed.
Do you have your Ascendent, Career Point (or any personal planets) in 18-21 degrees of Scorpio or Gemini? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo, or Sagittarius (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo; Jupiter of Sagittarius).
Monday at 1:26pm EST, Venus changes signs from optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius to ambitious, goal-oriented Capricorn, where it will journey until Dec. 6th/7th.
With this placement, our relationships tend to be more practical: We see people for who they are and are not afraid to lay the facts on the table; we take things more seriously.
We take our time warming up to others, appreciate maturity in relationships, and can make long-term commitments. There is a strong focus on business relationships.
Venus is also connected to finances and what we value; it’s thus a perfect time to get serious and make long-term plans in these areas: As best as you can, get real about what comes in and what goes out.
Do you have your Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus or Libra? If so, you will feel more serious and focused for the next 3.5 weeks; your heart will want to make practical, attainable long-term plans. If you are a Capricorn Sun or Rising sign, as long as Venus is in your sign, you will attract more love, abundance, and beauty.
Monday late afternoon, a somewhat challenging Sun/Chiron aspect becomes exact at 4:41pm EST. We started to feel this aspect build Sunday afternoon (Nov. 10th); it will remain strong until Tuesday afternoon (Nov.12th).
This aspect also operates more on an internal level. We feel uneasy about something, almost awkward — and we need to make a choice. An inner awareness needs to be developed to see what needs adjusting.
We may feel an internal dilemma around our ability to get things done — due to a drop in our self-confidence and self-esteem.
This could lead to us “hiding out,” leaving us feeling guilty, which leads to our behaving in weird ways — and we end up thinking, “Did I really just do that?”
As best as you can, be kind and compassionate with yourself — forgive yourself for having a human moment — this will support your healing process.
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 19-21 degrees of Scorpio or Aries? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo (the Sun rules of Leo).
Monday night/Tuesday very early morning at 1:13am EST, we enter a very brief Moon VoC that will last for 13 minutes, until 1:26am EST. Use this intuitive time as an opportunity to be guided by inspiration and fully commit to a project or task that might serve you long-term.
As best as you can, listen and trust the subtle messages in your heart that stir you towards success.
As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don’t start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow.
Monday night/Tuesday very early morning at 1:26am EST, the Moon moves into pioneering, fast-paced Aries, where it will journey until Wednesday night/Thursday very early morning. Life is an adventure; we’re more open to new ideas and enthusiastic about new projects.
Patience is certainly not our strong suit at this time, but we can decide quickly and act immediately.
Our independence and dynamism are important to us right now, so we may find it hard to be disciplined or accept advice; in general, our responses to others tend to be more assertive or even aggressive.
If you find your foot tapping, try hitting the gym or finding other ways to burn off the body’s excess energy.
